  1. These terms and conditions relate to your application to participate in a talent search competition provisionally entitled Alpha Unsigned with Alpha Music & Records LTD (Producer). The information given by you in your application may be used should you be selected to audition.
  2. You are not eligible to apply to enter this competition if you are an employee or close relation of an employee of Alpha Music & Records LTD or any parent, subsidiary or associated company.
  3. How we use your data
    1. The Producer take your privacy very seriously. By submitting this application form, you are indicating that you understand, acknowledge and (where relevant) consent to us collecting and using your personal information in ways explained to you in Alpha Music and Records LTD privacy notice for applicant, a copy of which is available here- Link Alpha Policy details
    2. We will from time to time use content and assets from your social media channels for promotion of the competition and or progression throughout the competition. This may include videos and images on open sourced channels.

  4. You acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules, regulation, terms and conditions for this competition as determined by the producer (the “Rules”) and you acknowledge that the Rules may be changed (including without limitation verbally) at any time by the Producer in their sole discretion. The Producers’ decisions regarding all elements of the application process, the competition and the showing on Social Media shall be final and binding.
  5. Applications are to be made online at alpha-unsigned.co.uk. Entry for the first heat will close on 27th September 2021 at 12am or at such other date and time as the producer may elect. The Producer may in its sole discretion include additional methods of application at any time and the closing dates for such methods will be as stated in the relevant promotion. 
  6. Applicants who are not available for the first-round audition may still be considered for a second audition on the basis of a submitted Video Clip at the sole discretion of the Producer whose decision will be final and binding.
  7. The Producer, their agents and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any online application, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any message or application not being properly received or recorded.
  8. Applicants will be selected and invited to attend an audition at a time and location to be decided at the sole discretion of the producer whose decision will be final and binding. You must be willing to travel at your own expenses to any location within the UK. You will be responsible for paying all expenses relating to the auditions, including without limitation travel, subsistence and accommodation. If you are selected as an applicant in any of the competition stages, you are responsible for these and all other expenses related to the that stage. The Producer reserves the right to change the date and location of any stage of the competition at its discretion, but will endeavour to inform you of any such change as soon as reasonably practicable.
  9. The completion of an application does not guarantee that an applicant will receive an audition or participate in the programme.
  10. Please note that to audition for the programme you must be at least 18 years old by 27th September 2021 (or any later closing date as specified by the producer)
  11. You must have the right to be in the UK and perform in the competition and if you progress to the final stages of the competition, the right to live and work in the UK. You must be able to demonstrate that you have this right on request by the Producer at any time and you agree to notify the producer immediately of any change in your immigration status.
  12. In the event that you are invited you attend an audition you hereby irrevocably grant all consents necessary for the Producer to film and record such audition to use recording featuring your contribution, including without limitation your image and/or voice, in connection with the competition and/or ancillary rights in the competition and to exploit the same in all media throughout the world in perpetuity without the need for payment to you. You agree to waive any moral rights that may exist in relation to your contribution. You acknowledge that you understand the style, nature and format of the programme and that we reserve the right to show all audition whether successful or unsuccessful.
  13. Should you be selected to take part in the competition you agree and undertake to enter into further contracts with the producer and you agree to abide by the terms therein. You must be able to demonstrate that from the time you are selected as an applicant in the competition you are not bound by or subject to any type of contract which would prevent you from fully participating in the competition or from entering into a recording agreement with Alpha Music & Records Ltd (or its designee)(“the Recording Agreement) you will be asked as part of the application process to make a full disclosure of the existence of all contractual arrangements relating to your talents (for example a recording artist management, agent representation, merchandising or publishing deal) which you have previously entered into or mat come into force on or at any point after the date of the application. The existence of any such contractual arrangements shall not necessarily preclude your participation in the competition. However, the producer reserves the right in full and proper consultation with the relevant parties to refuse entry into or disqualify any applicant from the competition, if the producer determines in its absolute discretion that any such contractual arrangement might prevent the applicant from participating in the competition or entering into the recording agreement.
  14. All personal details and/or information given in your application either in this form or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
  15. The producer reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the rules and/or are in breach of these terms and conditions.
  16. You will not without the Producer’s prior written consent disclose, publish or discuss with any third party any information relating to the competition, your appearance in the competition, the production team or any other information which may come to your attention including without limitation in relation to the Producer or otherwise save where such information is already on the public domain.
  17. You must disclose to the producer details of any unspent criminal convictions other than driving offences which have not resulted in a ban or custodial sentence. You shall notify the Producer immediately if there are any criminal charges brought against you if any information you provide on your application be comes inaccurate between now and the date of the start of the competition.
  18. You understand and acknowledge that the competition may be physically and mentally demanding and that you will need to be in a sufficiently robust state of physical and mental health in order to participate. All applicants who believe they meet this criterion, including people with disabilities, are welcome and encouraged to apply. If you are selected as an applicant in the competition, you may be required to undergo a medical examination by a qualified medical professional selected and paid for by the Producer, in order to confirm that you meet all physical and psychological requirements.
